What does product animation cost?
A single-movement Magic Photo is $350. Stop motion runs from $500 to $1,000, and product photography starts at $500. Here is what each price covers and when a custom quote makes more sense.
The published rates
Magic Photo animation is $350. It is a single movement of roughly ten frames or fewer, and for many products it does the whole job.
Stop motion animation runs across three tiers — $500, $750 and $1,000 — priced by complexity rather than by finished duration. Product photography starts at $500 in studio and $700 on-site, and a full brand refresh combining photography and animation is $1,000.
What changes the price
Complexity, not length. A ten-second animation of one object moving simply can cost less than a five-second sequence with several elements, a built set and a color change. The price reflects how many things have to be moved, photographed and moved again.
Custom props or built elements can add to the tier price. Any added cost is agreed before work begins.
When a package is too small
The rates above cover projects that can be booked directly. Campaigns, several products, larger sets and groups of deliverables get a custom quote instead.

A clear place to start
The packages let you see whether the studio fits your budget without a long back-and-forth. They are a starting point, not a ceiling: larger brand projects are usually built around a custom quote.
Common questions
- How much does stop motion product animation cost?
- Three tiers: $500, $750 and $1,000, priced by complexity — how many elements move, how much set building is involved. Custom props may add to that and are agreed up front.
- What is the cheapest way to get product animation?
- A Magic Photo animation at $350. It captures a single movement rather than a full stop motion build, and for a lot of products one well-chosen movement is enough.
- Is pricing different for brands outside Florida?
- No. The standard studio packages cost the same wherever your brand is based. Only on-site photography depends on location.
- Can you quote for a larger or more complex project?
- Yes. The published rates cover the packages that can be booked directly; anything more involved — several products at once, a longer build, a set of deliverables planned together — is quoted individually. Email Marissa@plfx.studio with what you are planning.
